Slides for "The State of Symfony2" Conference

Yesterday and today, the Symfony2 framework showcased its ongoing development during the first Symfony online conference. I had the pleasure to present the state of the integration of Propel in Symfony2.

Really enjoyed your presentation, François. I had no idea how far Propel 1.5 had come. Seriously considering switching to it via sfPropel15Plugin!

Great presentation just before a doctrine 2 presentation =)
I wish i could have asked Fabien about the futur of propel in Symfony2 if he didn't switch his presentation Miscellaneous enhancements before yours although it seems pretty secured.

Very nice presentation last week François. It leads us to discuss hardly about ORM pros and cons, your enthusiasm and your energy seems to be still such contagious.
We use propel everyday and we love it so much that we wish to go on, and that's why we hope that symfony2 will promote the usage of Propel too, if not there'll be a petition :)
Another thing : in sf2, you're the only one who spoke about "admin" gen...!

It's a shame I couldn't see this presentation in person. I'm really pleased that you're actively working on Symfony 2 though, I was really reconsidering my future using Symfony and thinking about switching. If there's good Propel integration (and it looks like there will be) then I'll be more than happy to stick with Symfony!
